Living in West London, married to Ian and mum to George and Albert, I’m a city girl at heart with a passion for beautiful things. I love my job and can’t think of anything else I’d rather do.

My enthusiasm for colour, pattern and texture led me to study Textile Design at Leeds University. While studying, I had my first dream job – working as a florist at Harrods Florist department.

After graduating, a career in fashion and beauty buying beckoned working for high street retailers, including the Arcadia Group and Selfridges. Craving a more creative role, I took the position of Style Editor at IPC’s Wedding and Wedding Flowers magazines. From 2004 to 2011, I was managing a team and overseeing the editorial content and design direction of the style department, covering food, interiors and lifestyle with a big emphasis on flowers. My wedding and flower industry knowledge has also led to several TV appearances on Channel 4.

Since 2011, I’ve been freelancing as an art director, stylist and consultant, working for a wide range of clients, including Harrods, Royal Albert, Royal Doulton, Sainsbury’s, M&S and House of Fraser. In addition to styling, I also enjoy writing travel features and compiling lifestyle and shopping pages for various publications.
